6 Consortium agreement Purpose of agreement Specifies terms of agreement for next three years Deals with payment scheduling, resolution of disputes, etc. Contractual deliverable, D1 All copies received 48 copies received, sent to EC and members Please contact Chalex if copies needed for records

7 Six-month report First periodic report Not mandatory report, but written into Annex I (D5) Overview of first six months’ R ESIST V IR work Prepared by Chalex Short justification of work performed Reporting procedure Work package summary reports  WP leaders prepare short summary reports for Chalex  Justification of work performed, problems, delays, etc.  WP members’ input to be decided by WP leaders Chalex to compile 6M report  Pool input of WP leaders  Draft distributed to CSPs for comment  Final version to be sent to EC by August 31 st (Month 7)

8 Status of contract R ESIST V IR contract received! Contract received by Chalex on Monday – signed and returned Contract should be signed by EC within 1 month Advance payment expected shortly Accession to contract All members must sign Form A  Willingness to be bound by terms of contract  Must be signed by person named on Contract Prep. Form  If signed by someone else, letter of authorisation required 30-day deadline  All copies August 3 rd 2005  Draft distributed to CSPs for comment  Final version to be sent to EC by August 31 st (Month 7) Please take your copy – instructions enclosed

9 Payments to members Advance payment expected imminently Please send banking details to Chalex if necessary Advance payment to members for first year’s costs Cost claim at the end of each year Financial statements submitted, approval, payment Subsequent advance for next year 15% retention of funds by EC until all work approved Travel costs Central travel budget  Administered by Chalex on behalf of MSB Submit expenses claim to Chalex for Rome and Ankara  Costs to be reported in Euros  Claim forms to be distributed by Chalex  Prompt payment once EC cash received Please check with Chalex if unsure of eligibility
