2 We want to approximate Czech cuisine to our Swedish friends

3 Influence by other countries Czech cuisine has been influenced by many other cuisines In Czech cuisine is influence by German (especially Bavarian), Austrian and by other Slavic cuisines

4 Typical czech meals Fried cheese (Smažený sýr) – usually Edam

5 Potato pancake (Bramborák or Cmunda) Made of potatoes, flour, eggs, garlic and marjoram

6 Czechs don´t eat lot of sea fish They eat freshwater fish (especially carp on Christmas)

7 Soup Czechs like soup before main course Typical Czech soups are bramboračka, kulajda, and kyselo

8 Bramboračka Made of potatoes, mushrooms, carrot, celery, parsley, garlic and marjoram

9 Kulajda Made of cream, mushrooms, potatoes and eggs

10 Dumplings Dumplings (Knedlíky) are typical Czech dish Three types - made of potatoes - made of bread roll - fruit dumplings (sweet)
