8 Mukmuk Mukmuk is a cybernetic mascot. Mukmuk is a Vancouver island Marmot who is cute and cuddly. Vancouver Island marmots are an endangered species. HOME: Vancouver island alpine-sub meadows. HOBBIES: Eating, burrowing, making friends. FAVORITE FOOD: flowers, ferns, berries. DREAM: to tell the world about his fellow island marmots. FAVOURITE COLOUR: berry orange.

9 The Olympic Inukshuk is the emblem for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. It was inspired by the Inuit Inuksuk, a stone structure that looks like a human. The Inuit Inukshuk helps guide people when they travel in the Arctic. The 2010 Winter Olympic Logo is a symbol of leadership, cooperation, friendship and the human spirit.
