15. Prejudice Unfair dislike for a group because of race, religion, etc. A preconceived judgment or opinion.

16. Resentment This is a feeling of anger or displeasure about someone or something unfair. Many Italians often resented the fact that they had to leave their homeland. Since the immigrants were poor and lost the land they cultivated in Italy, they were forced to assimilate to life in America.

17. “La Cosa Nostra” Refers to the name of the Sicilian Mafia which emerged in Sicily during the mid 19th century. The American mafia followed suit during the late 19th century following waves of emigration from Sicily.
