2 Regret A person who has a regret feels sorry for something he or she did.

3 Regret I regret saying hurtful things. Would you regret helping your family set the table? Why or why not? Suppose you ate the last cookie. Would you regret it?

4 Consume If you consume something, you completely use it up.

5 Consume The animals consume the tacos. I will name some things, and if you think a thing can be consumed, say “eat it!” a book a pencil some raisins a hotdog an apple a shirt ice cream a car

6 Inhabit If you inhabit a place, you live there.

7 Inhabit The penguins, seals and fish all inhabit the land of ice. Would you like to inhabit a world made out of food? Why or why not? What would it be like to inhabit the moon?

8 Doubt If you doubt something, you do not believe it is true.

9 Doubt When the butterfly suggests that Hurry might grow wings and fly away, Hurry says, “I doubt it”. If I told you that school was closed for a month, would you say, “I believe it” or “I doubt it”. Why?
