Summary of Functions Coordinator of the physics lists working group in Geant4 and contributor to physics lists. (20%) Developer of Geant4 hadronic physics, focusing on issues relevant to LHC experiments. Maintainer of the Binary Cascade and QGS hadronic models (25%). In the framework of the Geant4 testing and quality assurance working group, monitor the shift system for integration testing, follow up problems detected, assist developers to solve these problems, and enhance the testing setup (35%) Web master (key expert) on Geant4 web site, local software- management services, and TSO for bldg 32 (20%).

Hadronics 1.Add coalescence to the Binary cascade model 2.Continue to check stability and conservation of 4-momentum and quantum numbers 3.In the scatterer module, review use of thread local storage in collaboration with Andrea Dotti(SIM461) 4.Assist in the re-engineering of FTF together with Alberto Ribon; concentrate on interface for nucleus nucleus interactions and the introduction of an explicit handling of excitation energy for the wounded nucleus created by the high energy interaction. 2,3 started, not complete, 1,4 not started

Physics Lists 1.Coordinate and participate in the newly formed physics list working group. 2.Complete the implementation of methods in Geant4 hadronic classes to generate of HTML documentation for physics lists(SIM463). 1 ongoing, 2: some work done, not complete

Testing & Software infrastructure 1.Continue to oversee the nightly testing shifts. Maintain and enhance CMake/CTest/CDash setup where needed. 2.Participate in the migration of the tool submitting and controlling testing jobs from Electric Commander to Jenkins (SIM465). 3.Coordinate the evaluation of git as a source code repository for Geant4, in collaboration with Ben Morgan(Warwick Univ), and a SFT member experienced with git. Evaluate possible models using git for the implications in integration testing (SIM466). 4.Physics testing requires the use of reference files or histograms. Find a way to provide and version these reference files such that developers can easily updates these and for testing to select the correct versions of reference files.(SIM464) 1 ongoing, 2: not started, 3: not started, 4: nearly complete

Common Services, G4 web 1.Contribute to SFT common services in the area of managing SFT and Geant4 servers in IT using the Quattor and Puppet tools. 2.Contribute to the management of SFT web servers. 3.Continue to maintain the geant4 web site. If needed, migrate Geant4 Drupal based tools and databases to new services. 1-3: ongoing service work G4 web site in Drupal

Other Act as TSO officer for building 32
