1 Evaluation Survey Given on the last day of the program Total number of respondents: 15

2 Day 1 – Basic Nutrition Lecture Objective: to strengthen and give professional support to knowledge of mothers about nutrition 50-60% strongly agreed while remaining 50% agreed that the lecture strengthened and taught them new things about nutrition. 80% strongly agreed that the lecture reminded and helped them grasp concepts on planning the nutrition of their children

3 Day 1 – Basic Nutrition Lecture Respondents wanted the following to be added to the lecture: – More budget recipes – Childhood immunizations – Techniques on cooking nutritious meals – More specific food appropriate for children Opinion from the group: what respondents wanted to be added to the lecture were taught in succeeding activities except for immunization which is beyond the scope of the lecture

4 Day 1 – Demo-Return Demo Objective: – To impart on participants the mindset that nutritious meals can be cheap – To encourage participants to plan and make nutritious meals in their homes through presenting a sample recipe

5 Day 1 – Demo-Return Demo 60-67% of respondents strongly agreed, and 50% agreed that: – They believed the sample recipe was nutritious, cheap, and would be appetizing to their kids. – Encouraged to plan meals like the one presented in the demo – Actually cooked the recipe when they got home – They learned something new from the activity

6 Day 1 – Demo-Return Demo Comments on the activity from the respondents: – “mas madagdagan ng kaalaman sa pagluluto”  from 2 mothers Interpretation: the 2 mothers may have been expecting the demo to be more in depth on cooking techniques

7 Day 2 – Hygiene & Exercise Lecture Objective: to strengthen and give professional support to knowledge of mothers about how hygiene and exercise affects the nutrition of their children 50-60% strongly agreed while remaining 50% agreed that the lecture strengthened and taught them new things about hygiene and exercise and its impact on nutrition

8 Day 2 – “Iron Chef” Contest Objective: to give participants the opportunity to apply what they learned about nutrition 50% agreed that they were able to show their cooking abilities 50-60% strongly agreed: – Glad to be given the opportunity to show what they learned – That the activity helped and added new insights to their understanding of proper nutrition

9 Day 3 – “Psychology of Feeding” Lecture Objective: to give participants tips on how to feed their child nutritious food 50% agreed that the lecture strengthened her current knowledge about the topic 60-70% strongly agreed that the lecture taught something new and gave new ideas on how to feed their child

10 Day 3 – Recipe Book Making Contest 60% agreed that they knew the objective of the activity 60% strongly agreed that the activity helped remind them of what they learned in the program

11 Days 1-3 – Quiz Games 60% strongly agreed, 20% agreed, 20% neutral that: – The games helped her understanding of nutrition – The games asked suitable questions related to the lectures of the program. – The games strengthened her new insights.

12 Environment and Facilities 50% strongly agreed and 50% agreed that environment and facilities of the programs was appropriate for the activity

13 Most helpful activities 2 mothers mentioned “Cooking demo”

14 Overall Evaluation 86% of the participants would agree that the program met its objectives Drawbacks to the evaluation: – Some mothers did not answer certain portions of the survey because they did not attend the activity in question  introduces BIAS
