2. Genre: non fiction Recommendation: I recommend this book because it tells me why we celebrate Easter, And what we do on this holiday. I like it when it tells you facts about Easter. It’s a great book for people who want to read about Easter. What did you learn: I learned that there are different ways you can celebrate Easter in countries. Like having crazy hats on top of your head or having a parade. I also learned how Easter got its name by people who had thought there was a goddess named Eostre that brought spring. That was what I learned. What's your favorite part: My favorite part was when they where stopping the story and writing down facts for each chapter saying things about “Days Leading up to Easter” with sentences of Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, and Good Friday. or “Symbols of Easter.” with sentences of bells, bread, grape juice, wine, candles, cross, eggs, flowers, lamb, palm branch, and rabbits. That was my favorite part.

3. Summary: Easter is when flowers bloom and animals are born. Mostly Easter is for Christians, to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus dying on the cross for are sins. There is something that we do on Easter, we make eggs for a symbol of life, we decorate them and put dye on them for fun. Another thing that is fun is waking up on Easter day and getting presents filled with candies and goodies from the Easter Bunny. Then we hunt for Easter eggs with special treats inside. On Easter day we go to church to learn about God and Jesus. Have fun on Easter!!!
