3. Unit 5 – eProject – Project Organisation Planning your project. For the 15 hours controlled assessment you will have to create a project plan. However it is worth planning your entire project including the controlled assessment part to practise the use of Project management software. This will also show your understanding of the stages of project development. We will now learn how to use project management software.

Think of the following terms: 1)What are the phases of your project? 2)What are the subtasks of your project? 3)How long will you allocate to each subtask? 4)Are there any milestones in your project? 5)What resources will you allocate to each task? 6)What are the costs of these resources? 7)Look at your objectives to determine your subtasks. 8)Consider what tasks need to be completed first before other tasks can begin.
