2 A QUICK REMINDER: Make sure all water breaks, bathroom breaks, pencil sharpening, backpack cleaning, etc… are done BEFORE the bell rings. Do not get out of your seat without permission. If you are eating, put it away or throw it away. Do NOT shoot trash into the trash can. Be ready to work and stay on task.

3 7 TH GRADE AGENDA 4-4-11 MONDAY 1. Write your agendas 2. Warm-up (A.L. #4)* 1. During this time I will stamp your Dialectical Journal. 3. Review Dialectical Journal* Turn-in 4. Begin character chart* HW: Begin thinking about a character you would like to write about for your end of quarter essay and presentation. Objective: In a dialectical journal, SWBAT make generalizations about characters using quotes from “Song of the Trees.” Objective: In a character review worksheet, SWBAT recall information from previous texts. 4 ASSIGNMENT LOG #4 4.) CHARACTER REVIEW 4/4 Pick a character from any of the following stories. Write 1 FULL paragraph (6 sent) describing the physical SETTING he/she lived in and describing the EVENTS that took place during his/her life. Don’t forget to discuss what those events showed about his/her PERSONALITY.
