1 ENC 1101 Agenda for September 23, 2013  Daily Objective:  To appreciate the majesty of Chaucer’s language  Daily Assignments:  Pass out review to Friday’s Mid-Midterm Test  Listen to clip of The Canterbury Tales in “Middle English” and go over background to The Canterbury Tales  Work on Index to The Canterbury Tales- Prologue part due at end of period  Next class period we will play “Guess the Pilgrim” last 25 minutes of class  Bring Wadsworth Book on Wednesday  Reminder: I have extended the due date of your final draft on Old School to October 1 so you have more time to make it wonderful.

2 ENC 1101 Agenda for September 27, 2013  Daily Objective:  To understand how to successfully write a research paper  Daily Assignments:  Return papers, then:  Work on Wadsworth assignments on research paper that are on p. 79, 80, and 81 of Guidebook in Media Center; we will also go over the template for our Florida Social Issue Paper  Play our “Guess the Pilgrim” Game  You will be assigned one or two pilgrims to create a skit for. You will then present your skit to the class so we can guess who you are.
