The following works have been started. a. Mandakally - 480 Houses b. Roopanagar, Bogadi - 144 Houses c. Metagally - 276 Houses d. Hanchya Sathgally Block 1 - 180 Houses e. Hanchya Sathgally Block 2 - 186 Houses 3.Rehabilitation of 46 selected slums of Mysore city(2500 Houses) 90.93KSCB As per in the SLEC meeting held on 25- 10-08,Tenders were finalized. Package 1(300 Houses) was rejected as it was a conditional Tender. Package 2(396 Houses), Package 3(348 Houses) & Package 7(Providing Infrastructure for 5 Slums) have been approved.For balance 1456 houses land is awaited( For Package 4,5 & 6)..

Project Cost:Rs. 108.90 crores Work awarded on: 25.8.08 Contract period: 18 months excluding monsoon period (3 months) 85.25KSRTC M/s. Nagarjuna Construction company Limited is the lowest bidder. MoA b/n M/s. NCCL and KSRTC took place. Work started in Kuvempunagar(60 lakhs), RS Naidunagar(45 lakhs), Sathagalli (125 lakhs)and Muffosil bus station. Work needs to be commenced in Ilawala, CBS and at Chamundi hills. An amount of Rs. 715 lakhs has been executed against the target of 703 lakhs till the mid of December 2008.

Only one bidder qualified during technical bid stage. For clarification, full tender file submitted to UDD. Financial bid to be opened later. Retendering notification for four packages dated 17.09.08 has been floated. Last date for submission of tender documents is 31.10.08. Opening of technical bid is slated on 3.11.08. The high court has stayed the proceedings of tender. Sector: Others 6.Project Implementation Unit0.47MCC Public health Engineer and Information technology Officer has reported. Human resource Development officer yet to report.
