5 JIT is a strategic improvement partnership between the Scottish Government, NHSScotland, COSLA and the Third, Independent and Housing Sectors....and housing does so much more  Housing services, particularly adaptations, handyperson services-  prevent falls and accidents,  reduce delays in discharge from hospital,  increase home security and energy efficiency,  help extend the use of assistive technology, and  signpost people at risk to other services  Housing organisations are often key community anchors

6 JIT is a strategic improvement partnership between the Scottish Government, NHSScotland, COSLA and the Third, Independent and Housing Sectors It brings financial benefits  Unsuitable housing increases costs the public purse through increased injury rates, treatment and care costs.  Adaptations improve outcomes at a lower cost,  Extra care housing costs less than care homes and provides a better quality of life  Housing support services delay or avoid admission to care homes.
