2. I have improved my writing by doing better grammar and also spelling more things correctly. I also have been trying to make my stories more interesting by changing the plot. Also I put more about the characters into the story. Doing all of this has made my stories better and more fun to read. Also I have neater cursive and capital writing for handwriting. List and explain three ways that you have improved your writing from the beginning of the year to now….. How has your reading improved this year? Explain.

3. I have been reading harder books and challenging myself. Also I have been reading faster, the other day I read a 400 page book in two days. This made me proud because It was a hard book to read and I still understood it. How has your reading improved this year? Explain.

4. How do you feel about your language arts experience overall this year? I feel that writing and reading has helped me improve. Also the forty book challenge has made me push myself to read more books and I think that I have become a better reader doing this. Also I learned how to write a Literary Analysis which I did not know how to do before and it made me feel good to accomplish this. Also the R and E’s have been really fun. I like to read different books and see how well I understand them

5. What is your overall individual goal for this class? My overall individual goal is to do the best that I can do. I think that If I push myself hard enough I can read over forty books. Also I would like to be able to write a great essay by the end of the year. I would really like to see myself improve on my essay writing and create more formal essays. Also I would like to have better grammar and work on thesis statements so I can have a great grabber to catch the audiences attention. I would als0 like to get 100% on all of the spelling tests so I can move to higher spelling group.
