2 Ionic Compounds are composed of a metal and a non-metal
Metals = Positive (+) Charge Non-Metals = Negative Charge (-) Ionic Compounds

3 Ionic = Metal + Non-Metal
Binary Ionic = Group 1A or 2A Metal (alkali & alkaline-earth metals) and any Non- Metal Metal name is the same, Non-Metal changes to an “ide” ending. Use the Criss-Cross Method Binary Ionic Compounds
