24 Recommendations and Action Steps  Our current system works, is fully funded and creates net positive revenue  Land recycling budget review

25 Action Steps: 2012  Enable and appoint a Land Recycling Standing Committee  Use funds created by the Land Recycling system  Enable current system to coordinate, expand toward comprehensive land recycling  All spending directed towards more neighborhood demolition, greening, development and property management that creates value

26 Land Recycling Committee’s Charge Deliver highest and best use of that investment capital to generate the largest return possible in terms of dollars and livability

27 Land Recycling Committee’s 2012 goals  Act on 30% of the delinquent portfolio assumed abandoned and uncollectible, and  Bring up to 30% of that part of the delinquent portfolio back to taxable status or productive reuse
