7. The Mistakes Made Eve Thought everything that appealed to her was good Thought she knew better than God She sought wisdom she did not need She had ambition to become God She moved too close to what she should have abandoned She chose to believe the serpent rather than believing God

8. The Mistakes Made Adam He gave in to the influence of his wife He abandoned his God-given role of leadership He gave in to Eve without confronting her with what God said He obeyed Eve rather than God He blamed God instead of crying for forgiveness

9. How to Overcome Sin Realize you’re no match for Satan Recognize the stages of sin Redirect your will Remember God’s promise
