England lakes and rivers Project made by Marija Balčiūnaitė, Rūta Bagdonaitė, Laura Muraškaitė, Evelina Jasionytė, Ieva Minenkaitė Teachers is Tomas Poškaitis, Aldona Velyvienė, Eduardas Žemeckis.

Thames river  The Thames rises at three distinct points near Mitchell (North Thames), Hickson (Middle Thames) and Tavistock (South Thames). The Middle and South Thames join east of London and the North and South Branches meet at the Forks in London, the city’s most important historical landmark. From there, the river flows southwest passing through several communities including Chatham and four First Nations Reserves before it empties into Lake St. Clair at Lighthouse Cove.

Severn river  Severn (river, Great Britain), river, southwestern Great Britain. It rises in the Plynlimon Mountains, central Wales, and flows into England.

Trent river  The River Trent is a major river running from the Midlands of the UK (52oN), eastwards to the Humber estuary. Main tributaries are the rivers Tame, Dove, Derwent, and Soar. The catchment of 10500 km2 is underlain by sedimentary rocks of Carboniferous, Permo-Triassic and Jurassic ages, but glacial deposits are widespread.

Ouse river  The River Great Ouse flows over 70 miles from Bedford out into the Wash, linking to the River Cam coming down from Cambridge and a series of other navigable rivers along its way. The river is to very clean and cold in the winter. A river is 249km lng, rising in south- central england.

Ire river  This is Ire river. It is 236 km. long. It rises in centre England. It is very clean.

Nin river  Species of Fish which can be found in the Lake. This river not long. It is in England.

Windermere lake  Lake Windermere is the largest lake in England and holds many species of fish. The lake is reputedly one of the definitive Pike waters in the UK with a large stock of big Pike. Finding the fish on such a huge expanse of water is the key and local knowledge comes into it's own. The lake is one of the few places in the UK which holds Arctic Char a game fish of the Salmonoide family renowned for it's flavour and served by some of the Hotels in the area. These fish are found at great depths and a specialized form of fishing is required but who knows, they said you couldn't catch Schelly on rod and line. Note that live baiting is not allowed for Pike as new species have been introduced to the lake from such practices. OK so we like catching Roach and I don't think the population of Roach will do much harm to such a large water it does help the Pike grow bigger though. Pike seem to prefer the rubber lures although dead baiting with static baits just off bottom can be productive in the right conditions.

Majestic lake  This lake is not big and it is near Windermere lake. This lake is in south-England.

Southern lake  This lake in the Lake district. And this lake is not big but is not very small. This lake is in the south of England.

Killington lake  This lake is in near London. There are lot of fish in this lake. Near this lake is very much forest.
