Setting The story took place in three main places which are the Old Man REFRIGERATOR JOHN’S shack in the middle of an alley on the corner of Maple and Washington St. the other place is the second main character Primrose’s van in the front of her mom’s fortune teller business. The last place is the park where the main characters David and Primrose found out about each other.

5. Summary of Plot David’s mom died about a year ago when a janitor didn’t put up a wet floor sign and she slipped and broke her neck and died instantly. David moved into is grandmothers house on the corner of Washington St. Just down the road was a library where David met a girl bent over crying and that girl was Primrose. So David attempts to make small talk about the book so then later he realizes that she is there for the same reason he is.
