5. Man Has limited knowledge. Jas. 4:14 Limited life span. Jas. 4:14 Therefore, it was necessary that God give a revelation to man so that we might understand how to worship and serve Him. I Cor. 2:7-13

6. The necessity of revelation Man cannot know God (His nature, His will for man, etc.) through nature. Man cannot know God by instinct or intuition. Man cannot find God through his own reasoning, wisdom, and logic. GOD IS THE POTTER; WE ARE THE CLAY. Isa. 64:8
