3 So without a plan, a road map or blue print, its easy to lose sight of the goal or achieve the result that we hope for.

4 Introduction Monthly Membership program that promotes New Member Recruitment, Member Retention, and Participation in Council Programs

5 Council Development Phase Step One Grand Knight, Council Membership and Program Directors develop 10 Power Teams Step Two Select Team Leaders / Co-Team Leaders Assign membership to a council team Step Three Complete Membership Interest Survey Schedule Monthly 1 st Degrees

6 District Deputy Development Phase District Deputy Involvement: Assist Council Officers Create Power or 10 Teams Report to Regional Chairmen the Number of Teams in District Monitor Team Progress – Schedule 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd Degrees

7 Council Implementation Phase Council Each month each council team recruits 1 new member Council members in good standing must be contacted by a member of the team ONCE A Quarter Council Members who attend council meetings and functions and who suddenly fail to participate – IMMEDIATE CONTACT Council PERSONAL CONTACT with all members who fail to pay dues

8 Council Action Plan Council & DD Council Teams MUST maintain positive growth Council & DD Councils not recruiting or have negative growth, District Deputy must visit council and offer his assistance. Goal is to have Positive Growth Council & DD Road Map To Star Council

9 Blitz Membership Drive Teams must participate in the Spring Blitz Membership Drive Maintain Positive Growth Bonus Recruitment Activity

10 Regional Coordinators Responsibilities State Council Contact District Deputy to confirm council have function Power of 10 Teams State Council Monthly Communications with District Deputy to discuss status of assigned councils State Council District Deputy and Coordinator will visit struggling councils – Develop Strategy for Growth

11 Regional Coordinators Responsibilities State Council Monthly communications with Elected and Selected State Officers State Council Prepare a Diocese Degree Schedule Coordinate attendance for Major Degrees State Council Conduct Seminars on how to have Positive Membership Growth
