1 Tuesday, May 8 ESSAY: Expanded narrative…think about a time in your life when you were given a task to complete in a similar situation as Brent. Explain the episode, the punishment, and the realization reached as a conclusion.

2 Using the dictionary or your notes, write a basic definition for all 8 terms. Then, locate a quote from the novel demonstrating each definition. It needs to be your quote. Not one I have previously given to you or one you were given as a study guide from Mrs. Colson or the helper, Ms. Maxwell. 1.Stereotyping 2. Simile 3. Metaphor 4. Allusion 5. Personification 6.
