Curriculum work groups: charge  Identify the essential elements necessary to achieve the vision of “the Illinois educator” for each of the six themes  Knowledge  Skills  Dispositions  Experiences  Begin to discuss how these should be organized for delivery  Begin to identify how these should be assessed

15. Curriculum work groups: challenge  Think in terms of all UI teacher candidates  Bring collective expertise and experience to bear  Consider operational contexts, but do not be unduly constrained by them
