4. Let’s Debate! Class debate addressing the following topic: The impact of technology on interpersonal communication. Topics discussed during the debate will include topics we have discussed in class (e.g. self disclosure, close relationships, culture) One side will argue that technology has a positive impact; one side will argue that technology has a negative impact. Sides will be chosen randomly. Use the rest of class to prepare (will also require prep outside of class; bring notes) Debate takes place on Wednesday/Thursday (will take a few minutes before debate to finalize things) Will count as Application Exercise #14
