1 BROOKLYN 3 MRI USER GROUP Sally-Anne COLLINS Sat 31 st Aug 2013 Session 2 / Talk 4 11:25 – 11:40 ABSTRACT A case study of a 23 year old female patient with an initial diagnosis of partial molar pregnancy. Ultrasound imaging proved inconclusive suggesting a Artero-Venous Malformation. MRI was used to further differentiate the mass prior to surgical intervention. Further examples on the role of MRI in the diagnosis of vascular pelvic anomalies.

15 Case study 2 30 yr old female – History of incomplete miscarriage – US suggested AVM and retained products – Gradual decline in haemoglobin

20 Case study 3 A 23 year old female – Post ERPOC procedure for partial molar pregnancy. – On and off spotting – One episode of severe bleeding – Ultrasound diagnosed a likely AVM.
