6 HR Processes HR posts outreach notice in data base HR request referral list Formats referral lists in PDF format Regional Announcement # (NOT OCR’s!!) Applicants will be pre-qualified

7 SME Processes SME reps from every functional area (up to 8 per forest) Evaluate applications Complete and document reference checks Focus group to screen veterans

11 Time Frames PHASE 1 Vacancies Open January 6 th through January 12 th Referral lists issued by January 26 th Consolidated list of all applicants who applied by January 23 rd SME Week- February 2 nd through February 13 th Coordinated recommendations and approvals- February 17 th through February 27 th Effective dates as early as March 29 th PHASE 2 Vacancies Open February 4 th through February 10 th Referral lists issued by February 27 th Consolidated list of all applicants who applied by February 25 th SME Week- March 9 th through March 20 th Coordinated recommendations and approvals- March 23 rd through April 3 rd Effective dates as early as May 3 rd PHASE 3 No SME Week Abbreviated recommendation coordination process Intended to be utilized to unanticipated needs or “catch” emergent needs.
