24 There are fewer than five levels in a food chain because there is a decrease in energy available from one level to the next.

25 Describe the compost cycle. Why is it important? Organic wastes (table scraps, grass clippings, leaves etc) are collected and placed in a compost bin with soil. Decomposer break down the organic matter making it into nutrient rich soil (fertilizer) The nutrients made are used as fertilizers for new plants. People save money and less garbage is going to the landfill
