The highest point of it is about 8 meters high. Some people lost their lives building the wall. Rebuilding of the great wall of china, took place during the dynasty that began in the 14 th century. The main purpose of the great wall of china is to protect from the north. The clothes that Chinese people wore was silk. But that was for rich people. Also most people in china have long hair.
