3 DMGs = final labs prior to surgical recovery UNOS Region 10 Donor Management Goals Quality Improvement Project: MAP > 60 mmHg Pressors < 1(one pressor plus Vasopressin to treat D.I. meets goal) CVP < 10 (or normal serum osmolality 285-295) Sodium < 155 pH 7.25-7.5 pO 2 > 300 on 100% O 2 (or equivalent, P/F ratio > 3)

6 Maximizing every gift. Care that is good for the patient is good for the donor. Patients with catastrophic brain injury receive aggressive patient care. Transplanted organs also benefit from aggressive patient care.
