Why do humans wish to humanize animals, or do we aspire to attain their qualities? Why is there a universal need for humans to use animals as metaphors for themselves?

6 What is our goal? Our goal is to create 3 separate pieces of quality art. –1. Drawing of the anatomy of an animal from various sides –2. Line art (scratch art) of an animal –3. Maquette of an animal in sculpture form –Time frame: 3 weeks (approximately)

7 Checklist “To Do” Create a skeleton“Book” to house the following (Example: Altered Book, Pop-up Book, Fold out, Accordian) Due Friday BOC 1. Animals A to Z Page (not just a list!) This is an artistic rendering of animals A to Z. (1 – 2 page layout) 2.
