2 iCAN Organizers Participants Sponsors Societies: IEEE NTC, CINS, VDE, WPI, ANF, CSMNT, CINN The First International Contest of Application in Nano-micro Technology (iCAN'2009), is a global contest for young college students who is interested in Micro-Nano Technology, using Micro-Nano devices from sponsors to create new applications, which should be new driven power in the future marketing. Country & Region: China, Japan, USA, Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong…… MEMSIC, Nippon Signal, China Star, Nano-Micro Electronics, Microsensing, Chongqing Jinshan, MicroChip. http://www.iCAN2009.com 2009 1.Undergraduate, Graduated Students globally can participant iCAN by team within 3 person. 2.Each team must register and join its own country or region’s domestic contest first. 3.The project of each team should use the MEMS Sensors & Actuators from sponsors or use own MEMS Sensor & Actuators. The final production must be functioned and can be shown.

9 1.Organizing a team with 2-3 students, and preparing proposal of project which must utilize Micro/Nano devices (the devices from sponsors are free) 2.Registering on iCAN2009 website by March 31th,2009 (http://www.ican2009.com) 3.April 15th, iCAN2009 participant team list (after 1st review), devices will be shipped to all teams 4.Team work on iCAN2009 project from May to Sep. 5.Domestic Contest Done by Oct.2009, the final list will be announced at Oct.31th 6.Jan. 20-23, 2010: Final Contest
