4 Purpose Increase awareness of health related issues Provide an opportunity for ALL students to get physical activity Connect students and community organizations Inspire healthy lifestyles

5 Planning Form a club or committee organization Find a time in school schedule List community organizations that can help or donate Promote involvement through announcements, videos, and posters Recruit faculty and staff to help run

6 Contact culinary arts or food service programs Schedule activities considering participation Find staff to supervise activities Organize easy method of sign-ups for activities Plan School-wide pep rally Get teachers involved in competition Planning

7 Certificates and awards T-shirts Point system – 1 point for participating – 10 points for winning a competition – 8 pts for 2 nd – 5 for 3 rd – 3 for 4 th Planning
