Civil Rights organizations/groups  The Organization of Afro-American Unity (OAAU)  Malcolm X created this after he left the Nation of Islam  Modeled on the Organization of African Unity, in the states of Africa  Started a similar group The Muslim Mosque, Inc.  After his death at one of his rallies the groups quickly broke apart  Raisin in the Sun took place at around the same time
