Introduction  Aim: to know what a computerized system is and how it can be beneficial to your community.  What is it: A computerized system can be used for many functions. It helps people with their study cases in any sort, take in attendance of students,

Advantages & Disadvantages  Advantages:  Less books to carry around  Lighter bags  Less paper wasted on copybooks  Worksheets can get sent by e-mail instead of wasting paper  Checking for plagiarism would be easier  Disadvantages:  Work could be lost  More CO2 emissions released  Could get broken and all work is lost if not backed up  Marking would take longer  Students could cheat on tests  Spelling is not learnt correctly and manually.

Systems we Considered  Portable T.V  Remote control cars for dogs  Electric Sharpener  Erasable Pen  Automatic Doors in the house/school  Electric Globe  Electric Blanket

Why we chose it?  We chose this computerized system because we wanted to present something that would be helpful in school.  Something that everyone can relate to.  It is in our school community.  We wanted to learn more about e-books.  Other schools can also relate to this topic.  It could help the school come up with new ideas as to how to handle books and paper work.  To help students learn more about the advantages and disadvantages of e-books.

How is it beneficial?  It is beneficial because it helps students be more organised and doesn’t make work complicated.  It is easy to use and it is practical.  Easier to carry around.  The font can be made bigger or smaller according to the student’s wishes.  Ugly handwriting can be read.

Conclusion  We conclude that the computerised books are a good Computerised system to invent. Despite some disadvantages, the e-book is a very good product and would make a lot of money. Students would not have to carry around books and it would be easier to do work as well as getting I.T skills. Although only some schools could get the luxury to have them, for example private schools instead of public schools. Schools in Africa probably could not afford the computerized books, but they would still be on offer. Some people might be against them but that is up to them. If they are on offer and advertised well, people might be convinced to buy them. Overall, we think that the e-book is a great product and that people would buy it if it was a real thing.

Evaluation  We think that we made a good presentation to
