2. Cover One  1 - The reason we decided to use the album cover idea of it being located within a chapel whilst having a live performance as our video is based about a mans life and how he committed suicide and this represents a ''mad world'' the character feels he lives within. We also used a live performance of the piano to match the soft rock convention of having a live performance throughout their music videos.

3. Cover Two  2 - The reason we decided to do an album cover idea focusing on the picture surrounded by flowers because death is the main convention within our music video so we felt the need to have idea highlighting this fact. The covers are mainly blue to focus on the sadness the song contains.

4. Cover Three  3 - This cover depicts a funeral scene whereby the attendants are mourning over the loss of the protagonist. As you can see the song title and artist are printed onto the casket which makes it look superficial. You can see the protagonist's spirit in the background watching his funeral - perhaps realising that he had more friends than he anticipated. The brown autumn trees symbolise solemnness as it's an extremely sad occasion.

5. Cover Four  4 - The inside of the CD will, like the majority of other albums, feature a lyric book with a little background on the meaning of the song and the artist themselves. The design around the CD is a hangman's noose. The CD is designed to be placed in the hole of the noose and this is intended to be displayed as a theme of the song. The main theme of the song is depression, which leads to suicide and an instantly recognisable sign of suicide is a rope in the shape of a noose. The design may seem emotionally and morally dark however this was intentional as it reflects the song.

6. Feedback  The feedback from those who we surveyed upon the album covers had decided that the best option out of the four we had was our third one of the tombstone. They chose this picture with the tomb stone as they felt the name of the artist and the song could be incorporated well into the environment. The liked how the mise-en-scene matched and gave atmosphere that suited the tone and message of the song. The feedback also recommended that we use themes from the song to design the rest of the case, this is where the idea of using a hangman's noose to surround the CD as this incorporates more themes about the song on to the case even though it isn't as subtle as the front cover.

7. Final Product Front and Back Cover We decided to make an entirely new album cover. This is because the previous the group felt as if they would have decrypt the narrative as strongly as these pictures do. This suggests loneliness and frustration. They are also simplistic like the most common soft rock ideologies.

8. Final Product Inside CD cover For the inside of the album cover we decided to maintain simplistic due simplicity being an extremely common convention within the soft rock genre. We wanted to strongly signify to audience that the song would contain a depressing outlook upon life. We also felt the review from IGN music would help spark an interest from viewers even more so.

9. Advertisement With out advert we used a polaroid camera effect to foreshadow the outcome of our storyline. Death. Using pictures are often for the purpose of capturing memories. With ours we show our protagonist to be smiling to signify that if you have a depressive outlook on life you may not show it to others. We also added two five star reviews to help it gain credibility and to help promote the album rather than the review from IGN music in our inside cover.
