2 SMALL ENGINE OPERATION SAFETY
1. Never operate an engine in enclosed area. 2. Work in a space with ample room. 3. Should be operated only by qualified service personnel 4. Use an approved spark tester to check spark 5. Do not have an open flame near flammable liquids.

6. Do not refuel an engine while it is operating. 7. Do not operate an engine if gas has spilled 8. Be familiar with engine shutoff. 9. Do not operate an engine with the air cleaner removed. 10. Refuel an engine outdoors 11. Do not operate an engine without a muffer. 12. Disengage an engine from driven equipment.

13. Do not operate an engine with an accumulation of grass, leaves, or other combustible materials near the muffler area. 14. Never leave an operating engine unattended. 15. Do not operate an engine at excessive speeds. 16. Avoid contact with hot engine parts.

17. Do not operate an engine in dry grass or combustible materials. 18. Keep feet , hands, clothing away from moving engine and equipment components. 19. Remove grass and other debris from cylinder fins and governor parts. 20. Do not attempt to crank an engine with the spark plug removed. 21. Always have an fire extinguisher near.
