3.  This PowerPoint was made for the English subject, it’s about dangerous sports (rock climbing, bungee jumping...) and paralympics (boccia, wheelchair sports…).

4.  We’re going to talk about three dangerous sports and three paralympics, let’s start with dangerous sports.  Bungee jumping is an activity that involves jumping from a tall structure while connected to a large elastic cord.

5.  Rock climbing is an activity in which participants climb up, down or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a pre-defined route without falling.

6.  Surfing is a surface water sport in which the wave rider, referred to as a "surfer", rides on the forward face of a wave, which is most often carrying the surfer.

7.  Wheelchair basketball is basketball played by people in wheelchairs and is considered one of the major disabled sports practiced.

8.  Boccia can be played by individuals, pairs, or teams of three. All events are mixed gender. The aim of the game is to throw leather balls - colored red or blue (which side gets which is determined by a coin toss) - as close as they can to a white target ball, or jack.

9.  Sitting Volleyball is a sport for disabled people just like volleyball but sitting on the floor. The rules and objectives are exactly the same.

10.  After doing this work we realized how dangerous some sports are and how, some people live withouth our everyday sports like basketball, soccer, football... Although, there are some sports just for disabled people, like we just talked about, boccia or sitting volleyball.
