3. Lizards Lizards and Snakes- They are closely related Lizards are ectotherms, and most species live in warm habitats. Insects make up the largest part of smaller lizards’ diet, but a larger lizard such as a Komodo Dragon can eat up to something as big as a small deer.

4. Turtles Some unusual features of turtles is that they have a jaw with horny ridges instead of teeth. The shells of some aquatic turtles are soft and leathery. Their size ranges from over 3 meters long and over 600 kilograms to under 12 centimeters and less than 1 kilogram.

5. Crocodiles and Alligators Crocodiles sometimes grow longer than a full-sized car. They spend most of their time in water breathing through turned up nostrils. Lies mostly hidden beneath the surface of the waters edge to ambush prey. Alligators- live near the water such as Swamps, ponds, lakes, and marshy areas.

6. Snakes Species of snakes are about 2,400 in the world. Can live almost anywhere in deserts, forests, oceans, streams and lakes. Areas like New Zealand and Ireland do not have snakes. Their eyes are covered by clear scales rather than movable eyelids.
