2 10/8/2015© InnoveneSlide 2 Background FOMMS 2006, Foundations of Molecular Modeling and Simulation 2006, will be held in July 9th-14th, 2006 in Blaine, Washington at the Semiahmoo Resort FOMMS 2006 provides a schedule and forum that emphasizes integration from the most fundamental level (electronic structure) through to meso- and macroscale modeling and simulation FOMMS 2006 brings together a broad background of scientists and engineers Innovators and Developers of new methods in molecular simulation and computational chemistry Providers and Vendors which supply hardware and software for modeling & simulation Users and Appliers of the technology Two successful FOMMS conferences were held at the Keystone Resort in Colorado in July of 2000 and 2003 and from those experiences, we expect about 50% innovators, 40% Users, and 10% Providers including participants from industry and government labs Promotion Activities At society meetings Through mailing lists (both surface and electronic) The conference web site, http://www.fomms.orghttp://www.fomms.org
