3 We are using advance technologies like LPS, GIS and SMS in Shakarganj Mills.  LPS System is used at Check Posts to identify the Sugarcane Loaded Vehicle with GPS Position.  GIS System is used for Grower Wise Survey with Field Pictures and GPS position.  SMS System is used to check the Current Yard Balance, Crushing & Recovery etc.

4 HOW LPS WORK Following technologies are required for this system :- 1. GSM – Group Special Mobile (Telenor) 2. GPS – Global Positioning System 3. GPRS – General Packet Radio Service (Mobile Internet) 4. Java Supported Symbian Mobile (Nokia C5-03)

5 HOW LPS WORK Following Items must be checked before the start of Software :- 1. Time/Date must be correct 2. Operator Signals must be available 3. Mobile Internet must be enabled on SIM 4. Mobile must be configured for Internet

29 A GSM modem is a specialized type of modem which accepts a SIM card, and operates over a subscription to a mobile operator, just like a mobile phone. A Subscriber identification module (SIM) is used with GSM Modem to Send and Receive SMS. Following Equipments are required for SMS System

30 SENDING TEXT MESSAGE At your Cell Phone, write text message with the given Codes and send to Specific Number To: 03418205328 Text: Balance
