9 Graduate Funding 2007 was the fifth year of the Summer Research Awards Program, providing 25 awards of $4000 each. In 2008, awards will increase to $4500. 2007-2008 is the fourth year of the Arts and Science Humanities Fellows Program, a merit-based competition for dissertation-year support for students in the humanities and qualitative social sciences. 2007-2008 is the first year of the Arts and Science Social Science Fellows Program, a merit-based competition for dissertation-year support for students in the social sciences.
