2 To enable better filtering options, always fill in as many tags as possible. This will help users narrow their search results when performing a broad search or navigating through the folder structure. Photo category – this category allows for multi-tagging. Tag anything in the photo category that pertains to the photo. Scientist image - Tag it with Research and Development, Scientist, Science Farm image – Tag it with Agriculture and Farms Family image – Tag it with Family, Children, Adults, Lifestyle Year Tag the year the asset was created Tag the year that particular asset’s campaign launched Season – this is great for a seasonal campaign launch like Artistry. Simply tag the season this campaign was created for. (e.g. Fall Trends 2015) Tag Tips and Tricks

3 Brand We tag the folder templates with the main brand of the folder. All assets loaded into this folder will be automatically tagged with the brand. If an asset contains multiple brands, tag all brands that apply during the upload process. Sub Brand – only a few brands have sub brands associated with them. (e.g. Artistry, Amway Home, Beautycycle). Tag those assets with their particular sub brand to narrow down searches. Intended Use – think about how this asset is supposed to be used. Training document – instructional tag Ad layout – promotional tag Old product image – historical tag Tag Tips and Tricks

4 Intended Audience – assets should be tagged with who the end users of the assets are for. Were these created for the general public to use? Are they to be used by employees only? Channel – this tag indicates what medium (print, social, etc.) the asset be used or consumed through. Email templates, for example, should be tagged with Email. High-res print ready PDF files should be tagged with Print. Genre – select the genre that best explains the purpose of the asset. 1 or 2 page ad/advertorial – tag with Advertisement-Advertorial Is your asset a Wing? – tag it with Exhibit Display Brand Standards – Standards-Guidelines Campaign – use this tag when a campaign launches. The campaign tag makes it easy to receive all of the assets for that launch in one search. (Only create a campaign tag if the group of assets you are loading are a true campaign – a group of assets that are part of a sales/marketing launch with a specific name and launch date.) 5 Asset Type – select the asset type that best describes the type of asset you are loading. InDesign files would be tagged with Layouts PDFs, xls, PowerPoint presentation, word doc would be tagged with Documents PowerPoint template would be tagged with Template An asset that is designed to respond to the actions of a user (e.g. Income Calculator) would be tagged with Interactive A product showcase drawing would be tagged with Computer Aided Design (CAD) Country – use this tag if you have an asset that is about another country. Farm images of El Petacal would be tagged with the country Mexico Affiliate offices in Taiwan would be tagged with the country Taiwan One by One campaign – tag with the country the campaign is from (e.g., Afan Forest – would be tagged with the country Japan) Ethnicity – this tag is great for tagging photos containing people. Sometimes users are looking for a model with a specific ethnicity. It is easy to narrow down a model search when these assets are tagged with their ethnicity. Tag Tips and Tricks

6 Leadership Pin Level – use this tag when loading ABO images to allow users to filter by the ABO’s pin level. Need – use this tag for nutrition or skin care assets. It describes the health and skin care needs the asset was created for. (e.g. Bone Health, Hydrating, Digestive Health, Anti-Aging, etc.) Regions – this tag is automatically set to the region your DAM instance is in. Please remember, if you do not see a tag that you think would be beneficial in any of these categories, contact the BrandNext Team until the Governance Board is up and running, and it is determined how tags will be managed.
