J. MEKKI (1/6) 15/03/11 – RadWG meeting CNRAD installation summary Key dates Installation have been performed from 2 nd to 4 th of March. CNGS setup with beam started on the 15 th of March (so today !) End of beam foreseen on the 21 st of November. Next access will be between the 29 th and the 31 st of March (to be defined)

J. MEKKI (2/6) 15/03/11 – RadWG meeting CNRAD installation summary BLM detectors Station1: 3 CB50 for high voltages 2 optical fibers 1 CB50 for Remote Reset TE/EPC Station1: 1 NE48 (only for 1 st Slot?) Lanbda or Astec ? DerivFIP Station2: 1 Profibus used as a FIP Station3: 1 NE48 LED warning signs Station3: 1 NE48 Station4: 1 Ethernet connection for Webcam 1 CB50 for remote reset of the webcam Camera located below Station4 where the radiation field should be low enough to avoid radiation damage

J. MEKKI (3/6) 15/03/11 – RadWG meeting CNRAD installation summary BLM detectors Station1: 3 CB50 for high voltages 2 optical fibers 1 CB50 for Remote Reset TE/EPC Station1: 1 NE48 (only for 1 st Slot?) DerivFIP Station2: 1 Profibus used as a FIP Station3: 1 NE48 LED warning signs Station3: 1 NE48 Station4: 1 Ethernet connection for Webcam 1 CB50 for remote reset of the webcam Camera located below Station4 where the radiation field should be low enough to avoid radiation damage Cryo (Fip based) Station2: 1 NE48 Station3: WorldFIP PCI 1 MHz Next access between 29 th and 31 st of March Next Slot: 1 NE48 (setup for IGBTs ?)

J. MEKKI (4/6) 15/03/11 – RadWG meeting CNRAD installation summary Monitoring of the PMI chamber positions for comparison with RadFETs: RP placed dosimeters (RPL, Alanine, ECBs) Close to old position 452, on the wall RM11 box 5V Dose expected at the end of 2011 (Considering 1.5e18 pot/week) 380 Gy (15 Gy < TID < 60 Gy) per Slot RM11 Dep (100 nm + 400nm) PMI 407 PMI 406 In the target area Dose expected at the end of 2011 (Considering 1.5e18 pot/week) 26.5 kGy (1 kGy < TID < 5 kGy) per Slot RM10 Dep (100 nm + 400nm) PMI401: At the junction chamber in the target Area. Dose expected at the end of 2011 (Considering 1.5e18 pot/week) 175 Gy Off-line Measurement 2 RadFETs (100 + 400 nm) PMI403: Between TSG42 and TSG43 in the target Area Dose expected at the end of 2011 (Considering 1.5e18 pot/week) 15 kGy Off-line Measurement 2 RadFETs (100 nm)

J. MEKKI (5/6) 15/03/11 – RadWG meeting CNRAD installation summary RM7 dep BLM position Facing TSG45 400nm + 100nm RM9 box (5V) Below DerivFIP module Facing TSG45 400nm + 100nm Position of the RadMONs during the 1 st Slot RM10 box (5V) To recalibrate the position Facing TSG45 (45°) PMI 406 PMI 407 RM10 dep 400nm + 100nm RM11 box (5V) RM11 dep Facing TSG45 400nm + 100nm RM8 box (3V) Facing TSG45 (90°) 1000nm Close to the camera RM8 dep LED position 400nm RM7 box (3V) Facing TSG45 (90°) 1000nm in short circuit To be read at the end of each slot

J. MEKKI (6/6) 15/03/11 – RadWG meeting CNRAD installation summary RadWG website has been updated for 2011 (see CNRAD tag) New webpage for summarising the ongoing tests including links to reports if they exist ! CNRAD data interface is under maintenance Questions: What is the pressure of the ≠ BLM chambers ? Possibility to have online values of the BLM chambers during irradiations ? TE/EPC → 4 AC/DC to be tested (Lanbda or Astec ?) → Only 1 for the 1 st slot → Planned to stay only one slot ? Next slot Setup for the IGBTs (TE/EPC) ? Cryo should be ready.
