5 Camera Configuration - 3 Edit the packet character. -Impossible editing character. -Text Start header “$” -Text End header “#” Text Separator is the delimiter of between of multi- events. Memory parameter for DVR Setting –Text Start –Text End –Line Delimiter Accept and reset camera.

6 Camera Configuration - 4 Configure PVA Functions Example: –Global Motion Event Configuration, and event string send. Main Menu->PVA Press enter on icon Check icon And Return to back This Setup means : –Global Motion Occurred »Send Event to Screen »Send Event to String »Send Event to Alarm Exit and overwrite.

7 DVR Configuration - 1 Recording Start. (CAM1) Connect Setup Menu

8 DVR Configuration - 2 Connect DISPLAY menu Check “Text-In” Save and out.

9 DVR Configuration - 3 Connect EVENT Menu And Select Text-In Tab. Click blank “Setup”

10 DVR Configuration - 4 Select RS-485 Input Transaction Start String –Same as camera’s Text Start. Input Transaction End String –Same as camera’s Text End Input Line Delimiter Configure the communication Environment. (Press setup button) Press OK and out.
