2. My Name

What does your name mean?
Look up your first and middle names to find out what they mean.

Did they have a name picked in case you were they opposite sex?
Were you named after a relative or ancestor?

You will be writing one of these for you and your person. Make sure you ask them these questions!

You will answer these questions for yourself and interview you person to get their answers. Ask yourself the questions in the present tense!

4. The Most Influential Person in My Life
Pages 7 and 8
You will need to write at least 250 words explaining who the most influential person in your life has been. Make sure you include why this person is influential, how you know them (parent, grandparent, teacher, coach, pastor, etc.), and what meaningful things they have shared with you. You will need to interview the person you are working with on this project to find out who the most influential person in their life has been.
You will have to write at least a 200 word essay sharing who their most influential person was/has been. You will need to include a picture of this person and/or some kind of decorative element to the page for both essays.
In summary: Page 7 is a 200 word essay on the most influential person in the life of your Then and Now person and Page 8 is a 250 word essay on the most influential person in your life.

5. Collage of Likes and Interests

You will need to create a collage of your person’s likes and interests from when they were your age on page 9 and a collage of your likes and interests on page 10. You must include at least five personal pictures, three quotes or song lyrics, one favorite book, one favorite music album, one favorite movie, and one favorite TV show.
You may include other things too, but make sure you have the requirements!

8. Family Traditions Pages 15 and 16
You will share important family traditions for both you and your person.
Page 15 should describe a family tradition from your adult’s childhood, while page 16 shares a family tradition that you participate in.
Traditions may include holiday activities, yearly family vacations, family games, or any other family activity that holds meaning and takes place on a fairly regular basis.
Be sure to include pictures, clipart, or some other decorative element.

9. Common Traits and Experiences
Pages 17 and 18
Tell me what you’ve learned by comparing yourself to the adult. List at least five things you have in common (experiences, personality traits, etc.) and five ways that you are different.
On page 17 you need to have a picture of your adult.
On page 18 you need to have a picture of yourself.
Try to find pictures when you and your adult are around the same age. Point out at least three genetic traits (dominant or recessive) you two have in common. This works even if you are not related!

10. Family Tree
