1 Memorial Weekend 2010 Schedule of Events (*see event signs for more details) Saturday, May 29, 2010 *Concession stand will be open 11am-3pm, clubhouse (if we get enough volunteers) *Fishing derby begins 5am, fish weigh-ins 8- 10am, 1-3pm, 5-6pm *Fisherman Breakfast 8am-10am or until food is gone, clubhouse Board Candidate “Meet and Greet” 10am- 11am, clubhouse Concrete Saturday Market 9am-4pm, Concrete Senior Center *Poker Run 1pm (sign-in starts at 12:30), clubhouse (rain or shine) *Tentative: Duck Race #1 at 3pm (if enough ducks are sold for 2 races) *Bingo, doors open at 6:30pm, play begins at 7pm, clubhouse Sunday May 30, 2010 *Concession stand will be open 11am-3pm, clubhouse (if we get enough volunteers) *Craft Fair 10:30am-noon, clubhouse *Fishing derby ends 3pm, fish weigh-ins 9-11am, 1-3pm *Duck Race 3pm *Awards Ceremony 4pm, clubhouse (there will be opportunity for fishermen and non-fishermen to win prizes, must attend to win)

3 Stop by the Lake Tyee office to sign up for the For the 2010 Fishing Derby Sign up early so Cash Prizes can be planned based on participation $5 per fisherperson or $25/lot up to 6 fisher people Derby date: May 29 th 5am- May 30 th 3pm Weighing: Saturday May 29 th 8-10am, 1-3pm, and 5-6pm Sunday May 30 th 9-11am and 1-3pm (no late weigh-ins) Fisherman’s Breakfast: Saturday, May 29 th 8am Awards Ceremony: Sunday, May 30 th 4pm, must be present to win * Be a sport, avoid fishing from May 25 until the derby starts on May 29 at 5am * Registration and payment for the derby must received by May 29 th 9am. Saturday, May 29 th registration will be from 8-9am during the Fisherman’s Breakfast in the Clubhouse. No late registrations. 4 Fisherman’s Breakfast Join us at the clubhouse Saturday May 29, 2010 8am - 10am (or until food is gone) Menu: Eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy Orange juice and coffee Adults $5 Kids (10 & younger) $3 Breakfast Entertainment Music Fishing Jokes Fish and Duck coloring pictures Word search puzzles

5 1.Royal Flush 2.Straight Flush 3.4 of a Kind 4.Full House 5.Flush 6.Straight 7.3 of a kind 8.2 pair 9.Pair 10.High Card Entry Fee $3.00 per person All ages are welcome to participate; if winner is under 18, parent must collect prize on behalf of minor. Any mode of transportation is acceptable to get to each card pick-up location (biking, running, walking, driving, boating, etc) Rules will be posted, all participants are responsible for reviewing and understanding the rules in advance. Saturday, May 29, 2010 Sign-in Clubhouse:12:30-1:00 PM Start: 1:00 PM Last Card Pick-up: 1:50 PM Arrive at judging table:2:00 PM Hand out prizes:2:15 PM (all poker hands must be at judging table at 2:00pm, must be present to win) Prize: ½ of the entry fee total for best hand (the more participants, the bigger the prize), participation gift for everyone. In the event of a TIE, all winners will draw for High Card out of judges deck.

6 1.Pay entry fee, complete sign in sheet, and receive tally sheet. 2.Must collect 1 card from each of 5 locations (in any order) and get initials from card dispenser on tally sheet. 3.Participant must write name on card before leaving card pick-up location 4.Card swapping is strictly prohibited 5.If participant drew duplicate cards (i.e. two 3’s of Hearts), one must be discarded and replacement drawn from judges deck. 6.Any mode of transportation is acceptable to get to each card pick-up location (biking, running, walking, driving, boating, etc) 7.Participants can be of any age however if winner is under 18, parent must collect cash prize for minor 8.Card pick-up locations are noted on the Lake Tyee map and indicated by a sign posted at the location. 9.Last card pick-up must be before 1:50 pm, players must be back at judging table by 2:00 PM in order to win

7 Stop by the Lake Tyee office to purchase your ducks For the 2010 Duck Race Sign up early to pick your favorite ducky numbers $2 per duck or 3/$5 There will be 1 or 2 races; depending on how many ducks are sold this year. All ducks for race #1 will be sold before any ducks for race #2 are sold. If there are only enough ducks sold for 1 race it will be held Sunday, May 30 th at 3pm. If there are enough ducks sold for 2 races; Race #1 will be held Saturday, May 29 th at 3pm and Race #2 will be held Sunday, May 30 th at 3pm. Finish line is by the bridge near the dumpsters across from the clubhouse Come and cheer your ducks to victory Amount of Cash Prizes will depend on how many ducks are sold in total this year Estimated payout per race: 1 st $75-$100, 2 nd $50-$75, 3 rd $25-$50 *Sign-up for the duck race ends at 2:00pm Sunday May 30 th or when all ducks are sold. Duck Race Volunteers needed for dumping ducks, freeing stuck ducks, and catching ducks as they cross the finish line; sign-up in the office.

10 Awards Ceremony Sunday, May 30 th, 4:00 PM Clubhouse Must be present to win and collect prizes for everything except Duck Race cash prizes. Absent Duck Race cash winners can pick up prize from Lake Tyee office in month of June Each person is only eligible to win one prize, not including the cash prizes associated with Duck Race Local merchants and lot owners have been generous – we expect there to be 35+ donated prizes available plus cash prizes Fishing Derby Prizes: 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place prize for heaviest fish caught by a man a woman a teen (13-17 years old) a youth (8-12 years old) a child (7 years old and under) There will be drawings for additional prizes for fishermen and non-fishermen Duck Race Prizes: Amount of Cash Prizes will depend on how many ducks are sold in total this year Estimated payout per race: 1 st $75-$100, 2 nd $50-$75, 3 rd $25-$50 Lots of additional ducky prizes will be awarded in a drawing (drawing will be based on the ducky number you purchased for the duck race) Gifts for Children: There will be a table where all kids present can select a small gift at the end of the awards ceremony  KIDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
