3. BME Cancer Communities A small developing social enterprise with a community focus on BME and low income household communities affected by cancer. (CIC registered as Cancer Communities). Based in Nottingham, we think nationally and act locally. What do we do ? Raise BME and low income household cancer awareness in the community and amongst health professionals via events and outreach and training. Empower cancer service users to make accurate, up to date informed choices Assist the development of community based effective support services. Develop BME cancer information resources and supportive community based networks
