Clinical Medicine-80%, Critical Appraisal & Evidence based Clinical Practice-10% and Health Informatics and Administration issues-10% Three times a year Contact Pearson Vue to book date and centre 2 forms of Identification Feedback ST3 GP Trainee

Initially in Croydon, later in a purpose built centre in London Consulting room 13 ten minute appointments Primary care management, Problem solving skills, Person centred approach, comprehensive approach, Attitudinal aspects and clinical practical skills

7 WBPA and eportfolio Opportunity for assessment in real situations Professional development, Probity and Team working Based on approach of Foundation programme Feedback on areas of strength and needs, Identify trainees in difficulty, Drive learning in important areas of competency and determine fitness to progress to next stage

9 Collecting Evidence Case-based Discussion (CBD) 6 in ST1, 6 in ST2 and 12 in ST3 Case-based Discussion (CBD) Consultation Observation (COT) in primary care or Mini-CEX in secondary care 6 in ST1, 6 in ST2 and 12 in ST3 Consultation Observation (COT)Mini-CEX Direct Observation of Procedural Skills (DOPS) Until mandatory section of log complete Evidence recorded through direct observation of the trainee by the trainer in primary care and Clinical Supervisors’ Reports (CSR) when in secondary care.Clinical Supervisors’ Reports (CSR) Multi-Source Feedback (MSF) Two cycles in both ST1 (clinicians only) and ST3 (clinicians and non- clinicians), with the option of repeating in ST2 if unsatisfactory in ST1 Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire (PSQ) One cycle in ST1 or ST2, when in primary care, and one in ST3
