7. Man What’s our problem? Adam and Eve- Rebellion (Gen 3) We are all sinful (Romans 3:10, 23) Dead in our wickedness (Eph. 2:5) Wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23)

9. God-Man (Jesus) He is God. Jesus said, "The Father and I are one" John 10:30 He is Man. "...the Word (Jesus) was God...The Word became flesh and took up residence among us" John 1:1,14

10. God-Man (Jesus) He died as our substitute. "God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us" Romans 5:8 2 Corinthians 5:21

11. God-Man (Jesus) He rose from the dead. "...Christ died for our sins..he was buried...he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures and...he appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve. Then He appeared to over 500 brothers at one time..." 1 Corinthians 15:3-6

12. God-Man (Jesus) He is the only way to God. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" John 14:6

14. Man’s Response REalize God is holy and perfect; we are sinners and cannot save ourselves. REcognize who Jesus is and what He's done as our substitute. REceive Jesus Christ by faith as Savior and Lord. "But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name..." John 1:12,13 Ephesians 2:8-9

15. Man in God’s Kingdom REspond to Jesus Christ in a life of obedience. "If anyone wants to come with me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me." Jesus, Luke 9:23

16. Man in God’s Kingdom A new identity! Born Again! Ephesians 1: Forgiven Redeemed Heirs of His Throne Sealed with His Spirit
