2 Selecting the narratives You will be assigned some narratives (or very similar to them) from our textbook. However, you will have some options with this. Check the following page numbers to preview some options: Page 323 Page 481 Page 527 EVERYONE will read the narrative, “Girls,” by Gary Paulsen (page 131); but then you will choose TWO options from the aforementioned list. Set up your entry in your Tri 1 Google Doc like this: 1.Story Title: 2.Page #’s & columns of effective dialogue: 3.Page #’s & columns of vivid, descriptive word choice:

3 Reflection & Discussion Prep 1.Which narrative did you most enjoy? What made it enjoyable? Please be specific. 1.Which narrative seemed to reveal the most important theme or life lesson? Why do you think so? 2.Which narrative used dialogue most effectively? Prove your point by including specific examples. 3.Which narrative was the weakest? Why do you think so? Please include these notes/ideas in your Discussion Prep Google Doc.
